As part of our development team, the quality assurance analyst will be tasked with performing functional tests, examining and documenting bugs, reporting them to our development team while recording in our bug management tool (Jira).
The quality assurance analyst must also help in determining the cause of imperfections and propose improvements. The quality assurance analyst shall:
- create test scenarios and run them
- develop test plans
- monitor the testing progress and the correction of the anomalies encountered
- run diagnostics on the problems encountered
- establish quality assurance processes and structures
- document quality assurance processes
- follow-up with the development team
- review functional analysis or business analysis files
Requirements
- Jira (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Agile test practices
- Knowledge of web technologies is essential
- Knowledge of Web 2.0, facebook, Twitter, CMS technologies, etc.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality assurance analyst
- Superior writing ability
- Bilingual (french-english)
