The Alogient team is proud to announce the recent launch of the new Katimavik.org website.
Visit the site at www.katimavik.org
This new communication platform will allow the organization to better broadcast information pertaining to its programs and to help the youth and their parents discover how Katimavik changed the lives of thousands of young Canadians since its creation.
The site created by Alogient is built around the specific needs of the various audiences the organization serves. Visitors on the new site will then be exposed to information specifically chosen and formatted to answer their question, be they youths, parents, educators, other organizations or contributors. The site even includes a simple e-commerce store and allows the general public to make donations to Katimavik.
Founded in 1977 , Katimavik’s (which means “meeting place” in the Inuktitut language) mission is to educate youth and spur lifelong civic engagement through community service.
